Who is this Jennie girl? She drives race cars? Really? What? Yep that is me! I bet these were some of the questions you were asking yourself at first, at least these are the questions I would be asking.
I am a girl that LOVES racing. It’s one of those passions that runs so deep I have to chase it. Remember when you were a kid and you had a huge dream of being something really cool like an astronaut, jet pilot, doctor, or the president? By the time I was 12 years old, I was already locked on target. I knew exactly what I wanted to be; a race car driver! But not just a race car driver, I want to be a champion!
At first glance, you see a happy girl in her twenties with purple hair and a big smile. What you might not see at first glance, is this girl’s heart. I am full of huge dreams and a desire so strong that I will persist, work through whatever life throws at me, and NEVER give up. Not just a race car driver, but a champion. I’m not just in it for me, but to be a part of something bigger then myself. Not to promote Jennie Haraldson, but to promote hope. I am a no one from nowhere. I don’t have rich and famous family members, I didn’t have a silver spoon, and I am no different then anyone else. I am simply a woman with a dream and a vision who is determined enough to work hard and fight for who I really am; a race car driver, a champion.
The road has not been easy by any stretch of the imagination; however, it has been more then worth it. I live one blessed life! I am married to the man of my dreams. I have the most amazing supportive family and friends. I work for an amazing company driving race cars and coach people how to drive them.
Come with me this year on my journey to race a Stadium Super Truck, Pro Lite Race Truck, and spread hope like fire. Come along see the good, the bad, and the ugly. Most of all, find those dreams you have buried deep down, pull them out and go for them. It will take courage and determination. It won’t be easy. But I promise it will be worth it. You and I were not meant to live a boring ordinary mediocre life. Keep pushing, keep going, keep racing.
I know you can do it.
